I have never donated to Good Will before. I plan on dropping off my items to my local Good Will. Are there certain hours of operation that I need to drop my items off? Also, how does this work for tax returns? Will I receive a receipt that I can fill out for tax purposes? Is the a blank form that allows me to fill in what was donated and the amounts/cost of the items donated? If you could please explain the process? Thank you in advance.

Sharon – When you donate, the attendant should ask if you want a receipt or proof of donation form. Complete that form and file it away for next year’s tax return.
